long time no update

Yes, this site is still up and is still the only attempt at interweb lameness I have explored. I haven't written anything on here lately, and I should stop that. I will hotwire this puppy to be more of a news source for all things ESCHE. I will post all info for shows by all my bands and stuff. There are so many things going on that I really need to let you all know. So, first off, I will be setting this jiggy up so that it will email updates to those of you whose email addys I have, thereby saving me the time and effort of actually emailing crap to everyone in the world. But now the exciting stuff...

First off, let me have everyone welcome Trashed On Fiction to the ESCHE fold. They have been kicking it for a couple years now, and even though they are still young, their sound has been maturing so much recently. They just finished recording their latest mini-opus and I honestly cannot wait to release it on an unsuspecting public. Soon, you will all get trashed as well.

Also, tonight is my very first label showcase show. Here is the info:

Back from South Carolina! We sold some EPs down there and made some new friends. The Limelight is a cool place run by cool people, and they had more than enough Pabst Blue Ribbon for the whole entourage to drink..and we really wanted to clean 'em out, too.

Speaking of EPs, "Don't Fear..." is now available at Tower Records Huntington and Rock Candy in Stony Brook, on 25A, next door to the Green Cactus and across the street from the SB train station. Bryan Katz at Rock Candy is giving all the proceeds from sales of the EP back to us, so please check out his store the next time you go out for burritos. Rock candy has a lot of cool stuff, from band t-shirts and Ugly Dolls to unique fashion accessories and Freudian Slippers. I myself bought a "Yiddish Proverbs" coffee mug from there last week.

While we're on the subject, the new EP by Space Robot Scientists, entitled "Aggro Disco," is currently in production with Icon Omnimedia.

Also, Happy Birthday to Charlie Kassay at Deuces Wild Productions for being kickass! And thanks to Antonia at Little Uncle Joe's Promotion for all the hard work she is doing for us.

Welcome to ESCHE-etc!

Example Such Cloth Hammer Engine is a new record label based in Long Island, New York as an outlet for exciting new underground music that can't be found elsewhere. Currently, we represent The Repercussions, Space Robot Scientists and Potbelly Bandits.

The Repercussions have just released their first EP "Don't Fear..." and are playing dates in February and March to celebrate! Check them out in South Carolina on Valentine's Day weekend and back in New York soon after that. Check therepercussions.net/shows.htm for updated information on shows.
